As they say, Gray is not a color and more scientifically Wikipedia defines: "Gray is a color stimulus that is darker than white and lighter than black, but produces little or no colored impression (color valence). Gray therefore has no chromaticity, it is an achromatic color." And yet GRAY doesn't have to be expressionless and boring. There are numerous shades of Gray, not just light Gray, medium and dark Gray, moreover Gray is constantly changing. The immediate surroundings, its structural quality, light and shadow and reflecting colored light, to mention only a few, change the inconspicuous Gray, suddenly give it individuality. So I believe, Gray can also be beautiful, you just have to be willing to accept and see it.
A small "finger excercise" for better SEEING!
Wir alle wissen, Grau ist keine Farbe und etwas wissenschaftlicher sagt Wikepedia: "Als Grau wird ein Farbreiz bezeichnet, der dunkler ist als Weiß und heller als Schwarz, aber keinen oder nur einen geringen farbigen Eindruck (Farbvalenz) erzeugt. Grau besitzt also keine Buntheit, es ist eine unbunte Farbe.
Und doch muss Grau nicht ausdruckslos und langweilig sein. Es gibt zahlreiche Grautöne, nicht nur hellgrau, mittelgrau und dunkelgrau, überdies verändert sich Grau ständig. Die unmittelbare Umgebung, seine strukturelle Qualität, Licht und Schatten und das reflektierende farbige Licht, um nur einige zu nennen, verändern das unauffällige Grau, geben ihm plötzlich Individualität. Deshalb glaube ich, Grau kann auch schön sein, man muss nur bereit sein, das zu akzeptieren und sehen.
